Salmon fishing was outstanding over the past two weeks leading up to a north blow that caused a turnover in the lake. Fishing remains good with catches consisting of mainly king salmon with a few coho and steelhead. Fish are scattered from the beach out to 200ft. 3-7 color leadcores with spoons and plugs are taking fish early/late. 250-400 coppers with flasher/flies are productive after the morning flurry. Blood Run wire divers 100-210 on highs and 80-140 on lows are taking fish with Big Weenie meat rigs. Spotted Dick has been very good on a low diver or deep rigger. South blow this week will hopefully set the water back up.
